"Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Coleman earned her doctorate degree from Oklahoma State University. Her internship was with the Munroe Meyer Institute where she worked within a rural integrated care setting by providing individual therapy, parent training, and psychological testing. Before joining CHKD, Dr. Coleman completed a fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital where she specialized in addressing and treating severe and challenging behaviors. Dr. Coleman believes centering the patient and family within the treatment is the first step in ensuring the patient’s values and goals are included as part of the treatment."
